NU was unstoppable as they pounded the paint in the 1st quarter with 14 points, with Glenn Khobuntin finished 13 points who led the bench production for the Bulldogs. The offensive flow continues to go in the side of NU with a Mervin Baloran 3 points shot increase the lead to 18 points, as the 1st half finish, 42-27.
Eight minutes of the 3rd quarter, NU’s lead peaks to 20 points. But a silent Paul Lee in the 1st half finally offensively erupts, together with Garrick Ayala and a hot James Martinez performance made an 11-1 blitz to cut down the lead to only 9 points.
