Even with a magnificent performance from James Martinez as he notched 18 points, all from beyond-the-arc, which 15 points in the final quarter was not enough to stage a run to snatch the win against the Adamson Falcons, as the Red Warriors suffers its 5th defeat this season.
A fast pace game from both teams in the 1st quarter, but a more experience Adamson squad led by Alex Nuyles who scored 19 points, as they control the tempo and took advantage of UE’s miserable field goal shootings, to end the 1st quarter 17-8.
The Adamson Falcons continues their great ball movement with Lozada made a back-to-back three’s to give them a commanding 11 points lead, as for the Red Warriors only the sophomore Ken Acibar kept them afloat while a struggling Paul Lee was not able to deliver the necessary help from the Red Warriors’ only go-to-guy.
In the 2nd half, the Adamson Falcons completely took the charge as they stage a 21 points lead when the Red Warriors continues their field goal problem. The final quarter was exciting when James Martinez suddenly erupted in the three point lane, together with Kit Rosopa and Biboy Enguio. The Red Warriors were able to cut down the lead to 10 points, but the Adamson squad kept their composure until the final buzzer to end the game 69-56.
