In the final canto, the FEU Tamaraws excerted its might to make the lead back to 9 points, throughout the remaining minutes the Red Warriors close the gap that separates them with the FEU Tamaraws and at the last two minutes mark, Raffy Reyes, shoot a timely 3 point bucket, to trim the lead to 72-70. And, a crucial stop at the backcourt, a struggling Paul Lee pushes the ball hard to the basket but he missed, fortunately Erwin Duran got an offensive rebound and made a basket to tie the game almost 1 minute remaining. With a final hurrah, 17 seconds remaining Paul Lee made a good decoy plot that give Raffy Reyes an easy shot in the basket, but he missed, that may have sealed the game for the Red Warriors.
