Two rookies and one sophomore of the University of the East (UE) Red Warriors were not seen in their last match against the FEU Tamaraws.
Samuel Razon, the UE Red Warriors’ main man at the middle is officially out for whole season due to an ACL injury he got when he jumped awkwardly while defending a UST player from their game against the Growling Tigers.
Unlike Sam Razon who is out due to an injury, we’re not sure about the other two UE slotmen. Rookie and former UE Pages Adrian Santos and 2nd year player from the SBC Red Cubs Garrick Ayala. Together with Biboy Enguio, all three of them were missing in action against UST. But he was seen in the line-up again and even played crucial minutes over the UE vs FEU game. However, for the 2nd consecutive time Adrian Santos and Garrick Ayala were not even at the UE bench?
Game commentator Boom Gonzales said over to Sid Ventura while they were discussing Erwin Duran’s highschool career and the fearsome duo of Duran and Santos. Boom Gonzales these words,
“…ngayon wala na naman siya sa line-up.”
He was referring to Adrian Santos. What’s the buzz with the statement? Is their an internal affair problem over the Red Warriors or it’s just a normal disciplining process? Anyway, with a crucial season the Red Warriors are having right now, we’re still hopeful that the decision of the UE admin are for the betterment of the entire line-up and the community as well.
